Welcome to this week's P3 Hub Report. We continue our journey of tracking Prayer, Power & Proclamation across the UK and the globe.

As we reach the final week of March 2026, we are witnessing a remarkable "Quiet Revival" among the younger generation. From the 140km prayer pilgrimage to Canterbury to the surge of baptisms in the United States, the spiritual landscape is shifting toward a season of deep renewal. This week, we celebrate the "Three Ps" as they manifest through a generation rediscovering the beauty of the Gospel and the transformative power of prayer.

1. PROCLAMATION: Gen Z’s Search for Meaning Leads to Growth

Reports released this week (March 23, 2026) highlight a beautiful trend: young people are increasingly swapping "pints for pews." In a cultural shift toward authenticity, Gen Z is seeking "something permanent" in a divided world. Recent data confirms that the number of young adults attending church and exploring the faith has risen significantly, with many finding that Christianity offers the only stable answers to modern questions of identity and purpose.

In Ireland and the UK, groups of young men and women are intentionally visiting churches to rediscover the sacred. This is not just a statistical uptick; it is a bold proclamation that the Gospel remains the most relevant and life-giving force for the next generation.

Prayer Point: Pray for the thousands of young people currently exploring the faith. Ask that they would find welcoming communities and that their search for meaning would lead to a profound, personal encounter with Jesus Christ.

2. POWER: An "Easter Boom" of New Believers

Across the United States, dioceses are reporting a "staggering" surge in adults and students entering the Church this Easter. As of March 18, 2026, major regions like Boston, Newark, and Richmond have seen record-breaking numbers of catechumens. In Newark alone, 1,701 individuals are preparing for baptism and confirmation—a 72% increase in just three years.

This "Easter Boom" is being hailed as a series of "regional revivals." The power of the Holy Spirit is clearly at work on college campuses and in local parishes, where people are moving from isolation to the vibrant community of the Body of Christ. These "pockets of revival" are proving that the hunger for God is stronger than ever.

Prayer Point: Celebrate the record numbers of new believers preparing for Easter. Pray for their final days of preparation, that they would be filled with the Power of the Holy Spirit as they publicly declare their faith.

3. PRAYER: A Pilgrimage of Healing and Global Intercession

This has been a historic week for prayer in the UK. On March 21, 2026, Archbishop-designate Sarah Mullally began the final leg of her 6-day, 140km walking pilgrimage from London to Canterbury. Her journey is a literal "prayer walk" for healing and hope for the world, leading up to her historic installation as the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury on March 25.

Simultaneously, millions are preparing for the Global Day of Prayer (beginning March 27). This global movement of intercession is focusing on peace in the Middle East and the safety of the persecuted church. The week has been marked by a unified "Yes" to God's calling, echoing the theme of the Annunciation and the hope of new beginnings.

Prayer Point: Intercede for the peace of the nations. Specifically, pray for Archbishop Sarah as she takes up her new role, that her leadership would usher in a fresh season of prayer and unity across the global Church.

The P3 Hub Perspective

The headlines from the past six days tell a story of a Church that is growing, praying, and proclaiming. Whether it is a megachurch in Georgia baptising 400 people in a single weekend or a solitary pilgrim walking to Canterbury, the message is clear: the Spirit of God is moving. As we approach Easter, let us align our hearts with this momentum and be bold in our witness.

Join the Movement:

  • Pray: Support the Global Day of Prayer this weekend from your own home.

  • Power: Celebrate with someone in your community who is being baptised this Easter.

  • Proclamation: Share a testimony this week of how God has brought "healing and hope" to your own life.

Keep the fire on the altar blazing.
